Read on if you want to know all of the top stops in Arizona! (in my opinion)

📷

Fly To Las Vegas- Rent a Car

Things to see in Vegas.

Buffets! Mostly food. All the food. Just... eat all the food in Vegas.

- 'Wicked Spoon' at Cosmopolitan and 'Bacchanal' at Caesars Palace (Foodie paradise)

- The Fountains at Bellagio! (A classic)

- Red Rock Canyon super close park to see near Vegas!

Take I-15N for an hour and 29 minutes

Valley of Fire

Similar to Death valley except for cool red rocks everywhere! It gets so hot in the summer that you can't even stick out your head! So keep that with a grain of salt.

Onwards!

Google GPS St. George, Utah

1 h 47 min [92.6 miles]

Stay on 1-15N

First pit-stop!

St. George, Utah! Behold a Starbucks!

59 min and 41 miles later

Your First National Park!

Zion National Park!

Huge! The best bet would be to drive around through with your car. The bus transportation that takes you around while the idea is great is always super packed. But if you don't have a car then this would be the best option for ya! (so like how did you get here in the first place) FYI: Get ready to spend at least the entire day soaking it all in!

36 minutes later and 30 miles later...

Second pit stop, to get gas!

Sveiki Atvyke! Welcome to Kanab Utah!

Known for hosting "The Lottery" to win to see "The Waves" an iconic Canyon! FYI: If you ever enter the lottery and win a chance to hike this incredible Canyon, you better do it, and call me. Lucky you!

📷

Now here are a few options from Kanab, it's a good middle spot to see other destinations…

29 minutes [19 miles] to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park 16 minutes [16 miles] to Grand Staircase Escalate National Monument… I would recommend this one, although getting there is a journey. This one is one of my mom's top pick!

Next...

The Glen Canyon Dam!

[25 minutes and 24 miles]

Now you can spend a week alone at Glen Canyon Recreational Area, super pretty and an epic spot for activities!

14 minutes later… you will see a rock in the middle of a lake. It may seem like just a rock but it's a cool rock!

It's Lone Rock Beach, a great place for pictures or swimming! I would so recommend swimming!

16 minutes later

Welcome to Lake Powell!

Fun, food and rest, galore!

I would recommend booking a hotel here! Also, book hotels in advance as there are a lot of travelers and hotels get booked.

We stayed at La Quinta, loved it! I stayed here for a good week and never got bored! Lots of places to drive and see!

Lake Powell is home to Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Page Arizona!

A good rest area, lots of hotels and a grocery store to stock up on food. ****Not to mention Big Johns BBQ a classic! FYI: YOU MUST GO TO BIG JOHN'S IF YOU ARE IN LAKE POWELL!*** You'll thank me later.

Tips

Check out Antelope Island, never been sounds cool so that's in the works for another adventure.

If booking a viewing for Antelope Canyon, book in advance, and would recommend Lower Antelope Canyon. Driving through Utah and Arizona remember, not a lot of gas stations, the driver must have some extreme driving experience since the road can be all kinds of conditions. It gets frigging hot. Always buy water in advance. If there's a gas station, go to the bathroom. Do not drive at night. GPS will not always work! There will always be tourists unless going in winter. No matter the time of day you go! Keep in mind costs for state parks vs national parks vary! Everything. Costs. Money. Except for bathrooms! So pack a lunch, and soak up some views while having your said free, packed, healthy meal! Always always, allow time for travel and sightseeing!

Arizona is known for many things… here are some of my favorites!

Bryce Canyon (My mom's FAV)

The Maze Canyonlands

Arches (my favorite)

Lots of glamping! We stayed in a Hogan on a Navajo ranch! A must experience for stargazing! THE BEST! Splash and Dine Navajo Glamping!

Grand Canyon DUH!

Horseshoe Bend

📷 Arizona, you are stunning! I'll be back real soon to climb some rocks! (We love Arizona and always want to go back! Wherever the adventure takes you to get ready to see the beauty of the state!)

Here are some extra links to cool things because we still haven't seen everything!

Vermilion Cliffs national monument

Meteor Crater national natural landmark

Monument Valley Navajo tribal park

Petrified Forest national park
